Storm's coming
One of my co-workers just said, "Look at the snow!" The flurries are so large that they almost look like evidence of a pillow fight. The "canyons" between taller buildings in Manhattan increase the wind's effects, and right now there's quite an upward draft that circulates the flakes. We're on the 17th floor, not really that high for the city, but it's surprising to feel like we're in the middle of a snowglobe.
When I got off the subway at 9 o'clock, the snow had begun. Weather.com forecasts 3-5 inches in the city, and 5-8 inches where I live in Westchester.
