When I had my motorcycle, I did all the maintenance myself, and one of the annoying bits about motorcycle oil filters is that they're much smaller and parts/tools for motorcycles -- like for boats -- cost a fortune. The strap style wrench was nice, and it was also small enough to fit into my tool kit under the rear seat of the bike (where all space is at a premium).<br /><br />The other nice thing about the strap style filter wrench is that it can be used for any size oil filter.
